Ingredients

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine together olive oil, sliced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Give it a good mix.
  • Rinse the green beans and pat dry them using a paper towel or kitchen towel. Trim the edges and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the prepared seasoning and mix well, making sure the green beans are well coated.
  • Transfer the green beans to the air fryer basket and spread them evenly in a single layer.
  • Air fry at 360 F (180 C) for 7-8 minutes. Shake the air fryer basket once midway.
  • Transfer to a serving plate. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and chili flakes. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh green beans that are firm, vibrant green, and free from blemishes for the best flavor and texture. After cleaning them, make sure the green beans are thoroughly dried before seasoning and air frying. Excess moisture can affect the crispiness of the beans.
Keep an eye on the green beans as they cook. Cooking times can vary depending on your air fryer model, so adjust the time as needed. They should be tender yet crispy.
You can use frozen green beans instead of fresh ones for air fryer green beans. However, frozen green beans might release more moisture during cooking. So, pat them dry well with a paper towel before seasoning.
