Ingredients

  • 1 large mango (around 12 oz)
  • 1-1½ cup water
  • 2 teaspoon sugar (adjust depending on the sweetness of the mangoes)

Instructions

  • Chill the mango in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  • Peel and cut the mango into cubes. Add the mango cube and flesh to a blender.
  • Add water and sugar. Blend for a few minutes.
  • Adjust sugar and consistency as desired.
  • As an optional step, pass the juice through a sieve.
  • Add ice to serving glasses and pour the juice. Serve immediately.

Notes

Chill the mango in the refrigerator before using it. Also, use cold water or a few ice cubes when blending the juice. This way, you can serve chilled juice immediately.
Alternatively, you can make the juice and place it in the fridge for a few hours before serving. However, it is best to consume mango juice fresh within a day.
